Window Cleaning Terms & Conditions
1 - By accepting our quotation you agree to be bound by Sunshine Cleaning terms and conditions.

2 - Cancelling Sunshine Cleaning services must be done in writing and with confirmation from our Head Office that we have received your letter. It is your responsibility to ensure Sunshine Cleaning receives your letter. Sunshine Cleaning is not responsible for any communication that is lost in the post or out of their control. stuart.webster@sunshine-cleaning.net 3 - If operatives of Sunshine Cleaning have arrived to clean your property and you no longer require our services then Sunshine Cleaning reserves the right to charge 50% of the price payable for your clean to compensate for travelling costs and time wasted.
4 - To clean windows at the rear of your property Sunshine Cleaning operatives need to have access, therefore your gate/garage should be unlocked. Please supply us with your phone number so Sunshine Cleaning can ring the night before a clean. 75% of price will be charged if our operatives cannot get access to rear property and our operatives will only clean what is obtainable from the front of your property.
5 – Sunshine Cleaning operates a 12 monthly service throughout the year. This means Sunshine Cleaning may clean your windows during inclement weather. Sunshine Cleaning reserves the right to decide if the window cleaning services should be carried out. Rain does not affect the quality of your clean. If you or your representative prevents our operatives from cleaning, Sunshine Cleaning reserves the right to charge 50% of the normal cost of the clean to compensate for travelling and time wasted.
6 - If you are not satisfied with our service or cleaning results please contact Sunshine Cleaning within 48 hours from date of clean (01629 813975) and also confirm your complaint in writing to us. We operative will rectify to your satisfaction within 48 hours any poor work results or services. If any complaint is proven to not be as a result of our window cleaning or services provided, Sunshine Cleaning reserves the right to charge a call out charge of £30 to cover expenses and time lost. Sunshine Cleaning does not accept responsibility for any complaints that are not made within the required 48 hour time period from date of initial clean. It is your responsibility to ensure Sunshine Cleaning receives your letter relating to your complaint.
7 - In accordance with Sunshine Cleaning Health & Safety policy we request all small children and pets are kept inside the property whilst our operatives are cleaning your windows. All items of garden furniture/household items/plant pots should be away from the window and allow reasonable access to enable the window to be cleaned. The area should be free from any kind of animal excrement.
8 – Sunshine Cleaning operatives will clean all windows, but any windows that are inaccessible or unsafe will not be cleaned.
9 - In the event of any accident Sunshine Cleaning will instruct an Insurance Assessor to investigate as to the reason for the accident. Any accident deemed out of Sunshine Cleaning control and as a result of fittings or glass already damaged arising from faulty construction, poorly maintained windows or conservatory roofs will not be accepted and the customer will be liable for any repair or out of pocket expenses.
10 – Sunshine Cleaning will not accept liability for water damage to the property or the items therein where the windows have been left open prior to a clean or damage to the window or frame causing leakage into the property.
11 - All claims must be made in writing and addressed to Sunshine Cleaning within 48 hours after the liability has arisen. It is your responsibility to ensure Sunshine Cleaning receive your letter and you obtain a reference number from Sunshine Cleaning Head Office relating to your complaint/claim
12 – Sunshine Cleaning and all operatives are comprehensively insured under our Public & Employers Liability Insurance Policy
13 - Prior to commencing any work a Risk Assessment/Method Statement and H&S Policy will be recorded and produced on request.
14 - Payment for any service provided by Sunshine Cleaning must be made within 30 days from date of clean. Payment can be made either by Cash, Cheque, Standing Order or Internet Banking. If payment exceeds 30 days a late payment charge of £5 will be added to your account to compensate for all types of communication required to collect payment. If after unsuccessful attempts to recover the outstanding amount due and the amount remains unpaid after 45 days from date of clean Sunshine Cleaning reserves the right to pass this account over to our legal department and to proceed with court action to recover the debts, legal costs and any added expense incurred with regards to this debt.
15 –Sunshine Cleaning collects data from our customers in the form of Name, Address, Telephone Numbers and Email Address. This information is strictly for the use of Sunshine Cleaning and to assist in carrying out our services. At no time will your data ever be sold or passed on to 3rd party users. We respect our customers privacy, this information is kept in line with data protection regulations at all time.
Pressure Washing Terms & Conditions
Sunshine Cleaning guarantees all products and labor supplied under this contract to meet or exceed the standards of the trade.
1. This warranty does not apply to any work or product not provided by Sunshine Cleaning
2. This warranty does not apply to any damages caused by factors beyond the control of Sunshine Cleaning, such as:
a. Existing structural defects or products or work not supplied by Sunshine Cleaning
b. Improper maintenance, usual or unusual wear of cleaned surfaces
c. Plants or shrubs which are under stress due to climate or other procedures
d. Acts of God
3. Sunshine Cleaning shall only be obligated, under this warranty for structural or plant damages which are a direct result of operator error and is discovered within 15 days of said date of completion of work and only if written notice is given at business address listed below within 15 days of said completion. 4. Upon receipt of written notice, Sunshine Cleaning shall be allowed 30 days from date of receipt for the purposes of inspecting the premises.
5. Sunshine Cleaning shall have sole option of repairing or contracting repair work correcting any structural or plant damages that are a direct result of Operator error.
6. The maximum limit of liability of Sunshine Cleaning under this warranty shall be £1000. Under terms and conditions of their contract.
7. No representation or warranty made by any other person, expressed or implied, other than an authorized representative of Sunshine Cleaning which is not specifically set forth herein shall be binding upon Sunshine Cleaning.
8. Sunshine Cleaning assumes no liability for cancellation or non-completion of job due to causes beyond the control of Sunshine Cleaning including acts of God, labor disputes or material shortages.
Customer Agrees To:
1. Keep job site free from any obstructions or conflicts that would interfere with the performance or work of Sunshine Cleaning It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure that children and/or pets are kept clear of the work site.
2. Provide Sunshine Cleaning exclusive access to areas covered by this contract during the performance of work specified in this contract, and areas to be covered are to be cleared of other workers, equipment, and materials.
3. Provide Sunshine Cleaning with water supply (if accessible) to perform services. If water supply fails during performance of the job work will be terminated until water supply is available or off site water can be obtained. Customer will be responsible for surcharge to transport water.
4. Ensure the building doors and windows are properly closed prior to work start up. Any structural problems which would result in water or chemical damage to the structure interior.
5. Be responsible for the removal or clean up of resulting waste products on the job site, unless otherwise specified within the contract.
Both Parties Agree that:
1. This proposal, when signed by both parties, becomes a contract binding on both parties.
2. Sunshine Cleaning shall not be responsible for noise or water run off created by equipment and process.
3. In the event that work must be stopped while job is in progress, due to changes by customer or unforeseen defects or delays on the customer’s part, the customer will pay for labor time incurred. If the situation can be remedied on the job by the contractor, he will do so with customer’s consent and a signed waiver.
4. Neither party is liable for delay or cancellation due to causes beyond their control but any other cancellation is subject to a charge of 10%.
5. Sunshine Cleaning is not liable for any consequential or incidental damage or for any loss resulting from defects as noted in the agreement.
6. Payment for services is due upon completion unless other payment terms are arranged prior to beginning work on the job.
